A Shino tea bowl from the Mino region in Tōnō, Gifu Prefecture. It is characterized by the reddish tones that appear through the white glaze and the pinhole-like texture that emerges on its surface. Within the soft white glaze, the color of the iron-rich clay subtly seeps through, conveying the warmth and earthy vitality unique to Shino ware.
