DESCRIPTION: A set of two Bizen ware sake vessels: a tokkuri (flask) and a guinomi (cup).
Fired slowly in a traditional climbing kiln using pine wood, these unglazed pieces are examples of yakishime—high-temperature wood-fired ceramics.

The surfaces display distinctive Bizen characteristics born from the firing process:
scarlet blushes (hi-iro), sesame ash spots (goma), natural ash deposits, and scorched patterns.
Each vessel carries its own unique presence and quiet energy.

The tokkuri also works beautifully as a single-stem vase, offering a quiet elegance to any space.
