DESCRIPTION: Handcrafted from tightly bundled shuro (palm) fibers, this Shuro Tawashi Brush combines resilient stiffness with gentle flexibility for effective, scratch-free cleaning. The dense, bristly head is formed by winding long, golden-beige shuro strands around a central core and securing them with natural cotton twine. Its ergonomic, palm-sized shape fits comfortably in hand, allowing you to scrub vegetables, cookware, and surfaces with precision. Shuro’s natural fibers are slightly rougher than sisal and soften gently over time, adapting to the contours of pots and pans while maintaining strong abrasion for stubborn grime. Rinse clean after use and hang by its twine loop to air-dry—no synthetic plastics, just sustainable craftsmanship rooted in Japanese tradition.
