DESCRIPTION: Jar-Shigaraki ware, Speckled Glaze

This ceramic jar features a rounded form, covered with a distinctive speckled pattern created by ash glaze and iron content.
Its slightly textured surface reveals subtle variations in tone, with areas of glaze bleeding irregularly across the body—changing appearance depending on the angle of light.

While the exact origin is unknown, the glaze characteristics, clay texture, and firing effects suggest that it may belong to the tradition of Shigaraki ware.
